Decode my Geek here
I was born in Bisceglie (BARI), Puglia, south of Italy, and lived with my parents for 18 years in Molfetta. After five years of Liceo Scientifico di Stato, during which I was more concentrated on the basics of computer science, especially the C programming language, I flew to Milan to attend courses of Computer Engineering, at Politecnico di Milano.
Lived in Milan for 6 years, learning all aspects of life as single (sometimes) and as a couple as well with Mari, a wonderful lady who helped me to overcome many difficulties Milan faced to me.
On October, 5th I earned my B.S. degree in Computer Engineering and a bit exhausted of theoretical subjects I decided to earn the Masters degree. Other two years studying were not so heavy as i thought.
I waited six months to subscribe the next Erasmus Project selection at Politecnico di Milano, willing an experience abroad.
From August 2007 to March 2008 I developed my Master Thesis at Katholieke Universiteit in Leuven (Belgium). This experience has changed my life, definitely better. I earned the MEng. in Computer Engineering at Politecnico di Milano on April 24th.
Although computer programming has been my favourite activity related to computers, I’ve noticed that my studies are bringing me towards another direction. My masters degree is closer to Artificial Intelligence than pure computer science. But I am open to all related topics, feeling knowledge-hungry.
My nerd glasses can confirm that all computer scientists are fat-ugly-whiskered-unsociable-guys. I hope to be an exception.
I’ve a normal life also. I mean I’ve hobbies and girls as well. My favourite hobby is photography, a bit expensive but definitely the most powerful tool to express yourself. My second website (rarely updated) is about photography.
What about music? I love jazz, some rock, classical music and when I go to parties (because I go to parties very very often) I prefer techno, minimal and electro music.
